Video, as an independent and very personal medium, has a long transgressive history, be it political, sexual, or esthetical. Selected from Videographe’s collection, these works raise ethical and moral questions, and sometimes test the viewer’s limits. Scatology follows geopolitics, sexuality meets dark tourism, all in a variation on turmoil, discomfort and irreverence.

A version of this program was presented at Centre Clark (Montreal) on December 10, 2016.
